For short-term rentals, please inquire about pricing. Room for rent in a rural guesthouse. This is a long-term rental. 10 minutes by car from Ponferrada. The village is called Valdecañada. There is a bus on Wednesdays and Saturdays from here. There is no regular service. On other days, you would need to catch the bus in San Lorenzo or Toral de Merayo, the nearest towns. Toral de Merayo has a supermarket and a lovely river beach. Ideal for retirees who don't need to commute to Ponferrada every day and are looking for peace and quiet, nature, and outdoor activities. Other people live in the house. If the guest is a working person, they must have their own transportation: car, scooter, bicycle, or motorcycle.
