La Casa Calvet es un homenaje al barroco catalán y está construido usando piedra de Montjuïc, con un uso espléndido del hierro forjado en los balcones.

In 1900 the Barcelona City Council awarded him the prize for the best property of the year, the only award that Gaudí received during his lifetime. Casa Calvet is a tribute to the Catalan Baroque and is built using stone from Montjuïc, with splendid use of wrought iron on the balconies.
